Mind is the connecting link between your physical body and subtle body. It is the mediator of knowledge. The process of knowledge is not complete without involvement of mind. Functions of mind include control of physical body, sensory motor functions and making crucial functional choices at all times. As directed by intellect, mind faculties reside for reasoning, goal setting, desire, planning of actions and commitment.

Mind is the seat of pain, emotions and thoughts. It is the mediator and controller between thoughts and actions. Yama, Niyama, Asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana and Samadhi are the Asthangas (8 fundamentals) of Yoga. With these, we grow harmony of body, mind and soul.
